Responsibilities include training, quality assurance, escalated guest support, recruiting and onboarding, workforce planning, timekeeping, scheduling, reservations process management, and collaboration with internal teams. The manager also supports strategic initiatives, maintains operational accuracy, and ensures strong guest and travel-advisor experiences.

Promotes and sells future expeditions to guests onboard, conducts presentations and consultations, manages bookings and follow-up, and reports sales results. The role also supports guest check-in, reception, embarkation, base camp operations, safety procedures, and onboard marketing. It requires strong customer engagement, travel knowledge, organization, public speaking, collaboration, and the ability to live and work aboard ships on rotational assignments.

The Naturalist focuses on Japan ornithology, leading educational programs, engaging guests, performing excursions, and supporting the team to enhance the guest experience on cruises.
