The Marketing Manager will support business development and marketing initiatives for various practice teams, manage proposals, and execute client events, requiring strong communication and project management skills.

Supports marketing and business development initiatives for a law firm’s advertising, marketing, and digital media team. Responsibilities include developing collateral and pitches, coordinating events and webinars, preparing rankings submissions, managing sponsorships, onboarding attorneys, supporting RFPs and proposals, and assisting client and industry marketing programs. The role requires strong writing, editing, organization, communication, multitasking, and stakeholder-management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and related marketing and CRM platforms.

Perform conflicts-of-interest reviews for lateral attorney hires and new hires: research prior client/matter relationships, run conflicts searches, prepare reports, coordinate onboarding and matter openings, and work with Recruiting, HR, and attorneys to resolve conflicts and maintain accurate intake records while protecting confidential information.

Manage full-cycle attorney recruiting for Chicago and Denver offices, including partner, lateral, entry-level, and summer associate hiring. Build recruiting strategies, manage search firm relationships, oversee hiring committee processes, run the summer associate program, coordinate law school outreach and recruiting events, maintain recruiting operations and reporting, and support recruiting marketing and mentoring initiatives.
