Supports business valuation engagements for transactions, financial reporting, and tax purposes. Analyzes historical financial results, operating trends, risks, projections, and valuation assumptions. Builds and reviews Excel-based financial models using discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing methods. Assists with WACC development, industry research, financial statement analysis, valuation reports, document management, and engagement coordination.

Support valuation engagements for private equity, debt, and corporate clients. Responsibilities include enterprise, debt, equity, and intangible asset valuations; financial statement, cash flow, covenant, and trend analysis; purchase price allocations under US GAAP; market research; projection and assumption analysis; WACC development; and valuation report preparation.

Supports the Financial and Accounting Outsourcing team through qualitative and quantitative research, Excel analysis, client assessments, workflow mapping, accounting documentation, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, and process improvement recommendations. The intern collaborates with team members and clients, assists with accounts receivable and payable processes, documents accounting policies and procedures, and evaluates technology and workflow best practices.

Supports financial and accounting outsourcing engagements involving federal compliance assessments, contract and grant management, solicitation analysis, subcontractor evaluations, pricing, cost analysis, internal controls, audit and consulting projects, client training, Excel modeling, and data analysis. Works with clients across industries to manage risk, improve processes, and support compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, Uniform Guidance, and U.S. GAAP requirements.

Support CFO accounting advisory engagements involving technical accounting, transactions, financial reporting, FP&A, process improvement, and business analytics. Assist with planning, fieldwork, quality control, client deliverables, accounting recommendations, and client relationship development. Apply accounting coursework to complex engagements such as mergers and acquisitions, restatements, carve-outs, revenue recognition, lease standards, SEC reporting, and IFRS/US GAAP conversions.

Support audit teams on multiple client engagements by applying accounting knowledge, using firm technology and spreadsheets, shadowing professionals, completing research/marketing projects, attending trainings and firm events, and traveling to client sites as needed.

Support tax engagements under multiple supervisors by applying accounting knowledge, using firm technology and spreadsheets, shadowing tax professionals, participating in trainings and a marketing/research project, and attending team and client activities.

Assist audit teams on multiple client engagements by applying accounting knowledge and firm technology, shadowing professionals, participating in training and team projects, presenting a marketing/research assignment, and traveling to client sites as needed.

Perform audit procedures on financial statement engagements under supervision, prepare workpapers, audit checklists, and adjusting journal entries, communicate with clients and project leads, and support financial statement preparation and other audit tasks.

Support tax professionals on multiple client engagements, apply accounting knowledge using firm technology, shadow staff, complete a marketing/research project, attend trainings and social events, and travel to client sites as needed.
