The Trade Desk Support Engineer provides L1 to L3 support for service requests/incidents, monitors trading systems, resolves issues, and develops tools for operational efficiency.

Build and operate DV's model layer: fine-tune and distill open-weight models, run on-prem inference infrastructure on Kubernetes, implement a model gateway routing across providers, evaluate model quality/cost/latency, manage GPU provisioning and utilization, and define tooling for model selection and production regression testing.

Own P&L for one or more areas of the energy business. Build and maintain fundamental and quantitative trading models. Work with risk to ensure compliance with metrics. Collaborate with senior energy traders and learn proprietary trading methodologies and systems.

Provide first-line IT support for end-users via phone, tickets, email, Slack, or in-person. Troubleshoot hardware, OS, software, and network issues; manage incidents and service requests; maintain documentation and IT asset inventory; participate in on-call rotation; collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Support Quantitative Risk Management by building and executing quantitative risk monitoring, designing and analyzing key risk metrics, applying statistical modeling to assess future risk and opportunities, contributing to cross-functional initiatives, and presenting findings to executive management.

Operate and evolve an on-prem Kubernetes platform for latency-sensitive trading systems. Own cluster lifecycle, observability (metrics, logs, traces), CI/CD and GitOps, infrastructure automation, and platform onboarding/support for trading desks. Build tooling, runbooks, and scale platform operations.

Manage and scale proprietary trading strategies, develop and optimize models and execution frameworks, and collaborate across teams to improve performance.

The Senior FPGA Engineer will architect ultra-low-latency FPGA trading systems, mentor a team, and collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and software developers.
