The Technical Account Manager will manage client relationships, ensuring successful integration of Vave's API products, and support troubleshooting, project coordination, and client engagement.

Manages U.S. indirect tax strategy, multistate sales and use tax compliance, property and gross receipts taxes, refund studies, audits, filings, reconciliations, and tax process improvements. Leads ERP tax workstreams, automation, governance, legislative analysis, and business advisory activities. Partners with finance leaders, consultants, and auditors while mentoring tax team members and improving compliance accuracy and efficiency.

Manage and service an assigned employee benefits book of business, develop client action plans, recommend portfolio enhancements, and support new and renewal submissions. Coordinate with carriers to obtain quotes, review policies and invoices, prepare client proposals, negotiate agreements, monitor account performance, and maintain accurate agency records. The role requires an active Health and Life license, agency management software experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and five or more years of relevant experience.

Manages commercial insurance accounts and serves as the primary client contact. Responsibilities include processing quotes, policies, endorsements, certificates, renewals, claims support, client correspondence, renewal data collection, coverage planning, policy review, and maintaining accurate records in Applied Systems EPIC. The role also supports insurance marketing and sales, communicates account activity to producers, maintains carrier and underwriting knowledge, and ensures licensing compliance.

Produce life and disability illustrations and proposals, maintain carrier product studies and quote templates, evaluate new sales opportunities, support internal/external sales with product expertise and presentation prep, manage pipeline data entry and quote follow-ups, and adhere to service protocols.

Leads strategic insurance revenue analytics for executive leadership and Board requests. Builds financial models, scenario analyses, investment cases, and long-range forecasts; integrates internal financial data with external market intelligence; and develops CFO- and Board-ready PowerPoint materials. Partners across FP&A, identifies data and assumption risks, supports finance initiatives, and provides hypothesis-driven recommendations on growth, capital allocation, investments, and cost structures.

Serves as a finance business partner for specialty departments, leading budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, monthly reporting, variance analysis, headcount planning, and expense management. Develops financial models, business cases, dashboards, and executive insights; tracks cost-reduction initiatives; and improves reporting automation and planning processes. Partners with senior business leaders to support financial accountability and decision-making.

Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial transportation clients by delivering tailored insurance solutions, meeting sales targets, negotiating with carriers, preparing ACORD applications and proposals, handling binders and certificates, and providing ongoing client support and technical expertise.

Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementations and optimizations, managing scope, schedule, budgets, integrations, data migrations, testing, cutover, and hypercare. Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to embed controls, drive change management (communications, training), ensure adoption, and continuously improve financial systems.

Serve as primary client contact for complex employee benefits accounts, lead service delivery, mentor account teams, coordinate renewals and placements, negotiate with carriers, identify coverage gaps and risks, drive retention and growth, and ensure accurate documentation to minimize E&O exposure.
