Supports technology strategy, governance, and operational effectiveness initiatives. Identifies organizational pain points through research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement; helps develop solutions, milestones, and measurable goals; and tracks strategic actions. The role develops expertise across control testing, third-party risk, business continuity, cyber risk, data risk, fraud risk, and physical security risk management.

Develop and execute strategic plans for CIBC’s deposit product suite, including product enhancements, campaigns, client engagement, business cases, market assessments, and new product concepts. Lead initiatives from ideation through implementation, analyze financial and operational data, assess competitive developments, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and influence senior leaders while ensuring strong governance, risk management, and client outcomes.

Lead and execute risk-based IT audits (ITGC, access, change, SDLC, incident, infrastructure), evaluate findings, draft reports, recommend remediation, coach audit staff, and build senior management relationships to ensure SOX and regulatory compliance.
