Assists senior engineers with acoustic system design, modeling, simulation, DSP, prototyping, testing, electro-acoustic measurements, listening evaluations, data organization, documentation, and communicating results. The onsite summer internship supports investigations and performance optimization of microphones, audio systems, and related acoustic technologies.

Leads the architecture, implementation, optimization, and validation of real-time DSP and machine learning solutions for microphone arrays and conferencing products. Designs low-latency embedded audio processing systems, troubleshoots complex integration issues, mentors engineers, and collaborates with software, hardware, acoustics, test, and product teams. Evaluates algorithm performance through objective measurements and subjective listening tests while documenting designs, promoting engineering practices, and identifying innovative DSP and AI/ML applications.

Leads product management for wireless audio products, translating customer and market insights into product requirements, roadmaps, pricing, forecasts, positioning, testing, documentation, training, and launch strategy. Partners with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and end users to deliver successful products and maintain competitive market expertise. The hybrid role is based in Niles, Illinois and requires 25% travel.

Assists senior engineers with researching, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes, process controls, equipment, and machine controls. Supports experiments, project planning, data collection, test-data evaluation, equipment specifications, and process improvements focused on quality, cycle time, workflow, safety, and environmental impact.

Support product management for conferencing products through new product development testing, competitive benchmarking, feature evaluation, live testing, and assessment of audio-video performance across rooms with varying acoustics and lighting. Collaborate on IntelliMix Room Kit progress and evaluate conferencing concepts and industrial design options.

Supports global product management through portfolio analysis, dashboard development, sustainability initiatives, product lifecycle management, data governance, and process documentation. The intern collaborates with Product Management, Operations, Engineering, Compliance, and Product Data teams to assess product performance, analyze portfolio impacts, define data requirements, and translate findings into concise insights for business decisions.
