Supports research, testing, and implementation of AI solutions for business processes, data analysis, and decision-making. Develops AI prototypes and proof-of-concepts, creates reports and dashboards, documents workflows and best practices, and collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback. Design, develop, test, and optimize embedded Android software for professional audio products. Build custom AOSP images, integrate BSPs and HALs, develop low-level C/C++ code, JNI bindings, system services, and Kotlin/Java applications. Diagnose complex performance and system issues, architect maintainable solutions, review code, document work, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor junior engineers.

Conduct user research for product development by identifying research needs, designing and executing interviews, usability studies, surveys, and field studies, analyzing findings, and presenting actionable insights. The role involves serverless AWS environments, databases, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, Angular or similar frameworks, and TypeScript/Node.js development.

Supports Customer Value Stream projects and the business application ecosystem, including Salesforce, SAP, AWS, and integration platforms. Gathers and documents requirements, assists with solution evaluations and process improvements, participates in project planning and cross-functional workshops, maintains project documentation and process flows, performs data analysis, and supports software testing and issue tracking. Collaborates with business stakeholders, Product Development, Customer Success, and IT to improve customer-facing processes and technology capabilities.

Assist in developing and optimizing traditional and machine-learning digital signal processing algorithms for audio and conferencing products. Responsibilities include optimizing C/C++ code for CPU and DSP architectures, porting embedded audio flows to offline simulations, exploring audio encoding and network communication, developing coding frameworks, planning tasks, and presenting work to stakeholders.

Design software experiences for Shure products from concept through launch. Create UX concepts, wireframes, prototypes, design patterns, and specifications; collaborate with product managers, developers, stakeholders, and end users; conduct usability and customer research; define requirements and use cases; and ensure designs are technically feasible, intuitive, efficient, and aligned with Shure’s quality standards.

Design, develop, test, and document cloud software for managing Shure devices and supporting audio product functionality. Collaborate cross-functionally on front-end cloud applications, serverless services, databases, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and system designs. Apply software development principles, model systems with UML, review peer code, estimate tasks, and contribute to testing and release processes.

Assists the Internal Audit team with planning and executing financial, operational, compliance, and integrated IT audits. Prepares audit documentation, process flows, risk assessments, testing workpapers, conclusions, and reports. Identifies risks and internal controls, performs substantive testing, applies data analytics, documents audit evidence, and completes assigned tasks within project timelines. The role is fully remote and performed under supervision while supporting process improvement recommendations.

This summer intern will work with DevOps and Cloud teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud product delivery, enhance pipeline scripts and tools, test robustness, support deployment capabilities across product teams, and create observability dashboards for pipelines and applications. The internship is a twelve-week, onsite position in Niles, Illinois.
