Manage semi-monthly, multi-state payroll operations, including payroll processing, tax compliance, benefits deductions, reconciliations, audits, reporting, HRIS administration, vendor management, recordkeeping, and employee support. The role ensures accurate and timely pay, maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, improves payroll processes and automation, resolves discrepancies, and protects confidential employee data.

The Executive Director will lead CFN’s strategy, operations, staff, programs, fundraising, budgeting, partnerships, communications, and network growth. The role includes implementing a multi-year strategic vision, raising revenue through multi-year grants and partnerships, overseeing training and convening activities, managing finances, supervising staff, and serving as a thought leader in conservation finance. Travel to events and meetings may comprise up to 25% of the role.

Leads accounting and payroll operations for a growing nonprofit, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal controls, audits, tax preparation, compliance, systems, and process improvement.
