Provides remote administrative and project coordination support to the CEO and leadership team. Responsibilities include calendar and meeting management, travel booking, meeting preparation and follow-up, project tracking, Asana and Salesforce updates, document organization, expense processing, and vendor or reimbursement support. The role requires strong organization, discretion, communication, independence, and prior experience working with Mosaic.

Leads Mosaic’s external communications strategy, brand, thought leadership, stakeholder engagement, and funder-facing materials. Partners with the CEO, development, and program teams on strategic planning, internal communications, impact storytelling, grantmaking narratives, and field-building initiatives. Manages communications consultants, budgets, tools, partnerships, and Leadership Council communications while supporting organizational transparency and alignment.

Leads administrative, systems, finance, personnel, event, and operational management for a nonprofit project. Responsibilities include maintaining Salesforce, Dropbox, and Google Drive; tracking expenses, invoices, vendors, and payments; supporting grantmaking and development; coordinating events and webinars; managing onboarding, offboarding, PTO, evaluations, calendars, and remote-office policies; and providing high-level support to the CEO and program team.

Lead Mosaic’s fundraising strategy, manage a high-capacity donor portfolio, identify and qualify prospects, cultivate major donor relationships, and secure sustainable annual revenue of $8–10 million or more. Responsibilities include donor research, stewardship, solicitation of gifts ranging from six to eight figures, partnership development, mission storytelling, financial forecasting, and representing Mosaic with external philanthropic stakeholders.

The CEO will lead Mosaic’s strategy, governance collaboration, grantmaking, fundraising, external representation, financial stewardship, evaluation, and lean team management. They will build alignment across environmental and social justice stakeholders, strengthen movement infrastructure, cultivate philanthropic partnerships, oversee grant processes, communicate Mosaic’s mission, and support inclusive, measurable impact. The role requires deep environmental movement knowledge, coalition-building ability, exceptional communication, fundraising experience, and strong organizational leadership.

Leads Mosaic’s annual participatory grantmaking process, including strategy, solicitation, proposal review, due diligence, communications, reporting, and renewals. Builds relationships with grantees, funders, stakeholders, and partners; represents Mosaic publicly; supports fundraising and grantee programming; conducts landscape analysis and impact measurement; and coordinates grantmaking workflows. The role requires environmental movement expertise, strong project management, communication, relationship-building, analytical, organizational, and inclusive leadership skills.
