Provides administrative and financial support for a municipal Finance Department, including accounts receivable, billing, procurement card transactions, FOIA records, reconciliations, vendor reporting, data entry, records maintenance, front desk coverage, and resident customer service. The role operates ERP and document-management systems, maintains confidentiality, follows financial controls, and assists with general office duties and special projects.

Oversee daily municipal accounting operations (AP/AR/payroll), maintain the general ledger and reconciliations, lead annual audits, support budgeting and grant administration, ensure GAAP/GASB compliance, supervise and develop finance staff, and provide financial analysis and reporting to leadership.
