The Accounting Director serves as the onsite financial owner for a senior living community, overseeing accounting, billing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and resident and vendor financial matters. The role coordinates with centralized finance teams and regional finance partners, resolves billing issues, supports financial onboarding of prospective residents, and provides real-time financial insight to department leaders. Responsibilities require strong general ledger, accrual, financial statement, reconciliation, Excel, and multi-system expertise.

Lead occupancy growth and revenue through sales strategy, prospect relationship management, community tours, referral partnerships, and move-in conversion. Develop local marketing plans, manage digital and print campaigns, host events, supervise marketing staff, track performance in Salesforce, and present sales reports. Partner with community leadership and corporate marketing teams while maintaining regulatory compliance and exceptional service for prospective residents and families.
