The Escrow Assistant provides escrow services and support to escrow officers during real estate transactions, ensuring high customer service and effective communication throughout the closing process.

Provide clerical and administrative support under general supervision: answer phones, manage mail, prepare documents, copy/scan/file, enter data, schedule and organize meetings, order supplies, and maintain departmental records.

Manage billing and accounts receivable by processing payments and deposits, generating invoices and billing reports, tracking payments in financial systems and SharePoint, reconciling records, producing recurring financial reports, and supporting restitution tracking and coordination with courts and agencies.

Greets and directs callers and visitors, operates switchboard, and provides general administrative support (typing, filing, copying, calendar coordination). Sorts mail, coordinates meetings and catering, follows established procedures, and performs other duties under direct supervision.

Manage commercial escrow accounts and settlements for real estate transactions, acting as a neutral third party. Provide high-level customer service, coordinate closing processes, analyze and resolve complex issues, recommend process improvements, and lead/coordinate team efforts without direct supervisory responsibility.

Examine public and tax records for commercial and industrial properties to determine title condition and insurability, prepare title commitments per company procedures, resolve atypical issues using precedents, and act as a resource for junior team members while working with limited supervision.

The Commercial Escrow Assistant provides administrative and customer support for commercial escrow transactions, working under general supervision and following established procedures.

Coordinate with field operations to manage client files and support the FinCen reporting process while delivering customer service and improving processes.
