Leads GitLab’s National Security Group regional sales team, driving new and expansion revenue across U.S. federal agencies. Responsibilities include hiring and coaching Account Executives, forecasting, pipeline management, complex deal strategy, executive negotiations, federal procurement, FedRAMP-related selling, partner engagement, and account expansion. The role collaborates with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Renewals, distributors, and systems integrators while traveling as needed for customer and team engagements.

Own the Lead-to-Opportunity product domain across Salesforce and GTM systems. Define multi-quarter roadmaps, translate Marketing and Sales requirements into system capabilities, prioritize backlogs, lead discovery and delivery, oversee UAT and launches, establish success metrics, and guide Salesforce and MarTech architecture decisions. Own GitLab’s competitive positioning for AI and agentic software development. Analyze competitors and market signals, shape product roadmap recommendations, develop sales and executive enablement assets, lead displacement campaigns, and brief analysts, investors, and executives. Establish thought leadership, define competitive narratives, measure win-rate impact, and elevate competitive marketing practices across the team.

Lead product vision and strategy for an end-to-end AI-powered software factory. Integrate planning, coding, review, and verification across GitLab Duo Agent Platform and product areas. Collaborate with engineering, design, and GTM teams, identify gaps and dependencies, present recommendations to executives, and drive execution to deliver cohesive developer workflows.

Owns GitLab’s security policy and standards lifecycle, including drafting, approvals, exceptions, attestations, regulatory alignment, framework mapping, audits, and adherence measurement. Translates emerging regulations into actionable requirements, supports customer trust activities, and automates governance and evidence workflows using AI. Provides technical and program leadership across Security, Product, Legal, and Engineering while mentoring team members and shaping the security governance roadmap.

Leads technical delivery for GitLab Professional Services engagements, from discovery and scoping through implementation and handoff. Designs scalable, secure architectures for cloud and on-premises environments; deploys GitLab using Terraform, Ansible, and GET; and manages source-code and CI/CD migrations with Congregate. Provides DevOps and DevSecOps consulting, coordinates customers and partners, creates documentation and enablement materials, mentors consultants, and maintains tested automation assets.

Own the product direction for GitLab’s usage billing pipeline, including metering, aggregation, rating, and Zuora/CustomersDot integrations. Enable teams to launch credit-consuming capabilities across GitLab deployment models. Prioritize scalability, reliability, billing accuracy, defect remediation, and cost efficiency while coordinating with engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and go-to-market teams. Define metrics for reliability, accuracy, cost to serve, and time to monetize in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Own security risk identification, quantification, prioritization, and remediation across third-party risk, assessments, and security findings. Maintain risk registers, reporting, metrics, and remediation tracking while partnering with technical and business stakeholders. Lead AI risk management for ISO 42001 certification and build automation, scripting, and AI-enabled tools to improve GRC workflows. Monitor emerging risks, frameworks, regulations, and threat trends, communicating business-relevant risk insights to leadership.

Manages a portfolio of customer renewals from tracking and quoting through on-time closure. Conducts consultative customer conversations, identifies expansion opportunities, prepares renewal documentation, analyzes usage and contract terms, escalates risks, and maintains accurate CRM records. Collaborates with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and peers to resolve blockers, forecast outcomes, support retention, and drive recurring revenue growth within defined processes and frameworks.
