Build and maintain full-stack features for Cengage Learning Platforms using Java/Spring backends and React frontends. Integrate AI/LLM services, design APIs, improve platform architecture, troubleshoot cross-stack issues, write testable code, and collaborate with product, UX, and QA on accessible, high-quality learning experiences.

Lead and grow a UX design team, improve product-led design maturity, introduce modern tools (including AI), strengthen cross-functional collaboration, establish critique and quality standards, hire and develop talent, and partner with leadership on product and organizational strategy.

Lead content strategy and roadmap for business disciplines, manage portfolio P&L, recruit and contract authors, define project scope and timelines, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, career-focused digital learning experiences. Use market research, analytics, and customer insights to drive content updates and platform innovations, while overseeing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communication.

Design, build, and deploy K-12 AI features (lesson planning, grading, tutoring, admin analytics) while ensuring FERPA/COPPA compliance and child-safety guardrails. Measure impact, iterate with curriculum and legal partners, and maintain production-grade documentation, testing, and runbooks for deployed AI systems.

The Growth Marketing Director will drive revenue growth through data-driven marketing strategies, oversee acquisition and retention programs, and collaborate across teams to optimize customer lifecycle.
