Leads global finance activities for a $0.5B business across multiple countries. Responsibilities include financial planning and analysis, controls, operational efficiency, M&A transactions, business transformation, strategic decision support, and leadership of a geographically dispersed finance organization. The role partners with senior executives, develops finance talent, drives continuous improvement, and supports scalable growth. Travel to Austria is approximately 50% for the first six months, with possible relocation required.

Leads the architecture, requirements, validation, and integration of complex railroad solutions, especially autonomous train operations and automated yard management. Translates railroad operating practices and train-handling expertise into software requirements, safety protocols, simulations, and solution-level test plans. Supports RFPs, field testing, regulatory compliance, technical risk mitigation, and cross-functional issue resolution while serving as a technical bridge between railroad experts, engineering teams, customers, and management.

Conduct product cybersecurity assessments throughout the SDLC for web, embedded, connected, and industrial systems. Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, security architecture reviews, and secure design guidance. Develop cybersecurity controls, standards, training, and awareness programs; support defect investigations, remediation, vulnerability disclosure, and incident response. Partner with engineering, product, leadership, customers, and suppliers to improve cybersecurity maturity and compliance with applicable frameworks and standards.

Ten-week summer finance internship featuring rotations or assignments across FP&A, commercial finance, supply chain finance, and controllership. Interns will analyze data, support forecasting and reporting, improve processes, contribute to business decisions, and present recommendations to Finance stakeholders. The program includes coaching, feedback, exposure to senior leaders, and potential consideration for Wabtec’s two-year Finance LEAD rotational program.
