Processes low-level general liability claims by evaluating liability exposure, determining benefits, assigning reserves, approving payments, coordinating action plans, identifying subrogation, negotiating settlements, documenting claim files, and communicating with claimants and clients. The role requires claims management experience or completion of claims training, along with strong judgment, analysis, problem-solving, and organization skills.

Handles complex general liability litigation claims involving serious injuries, coverage disputes, legal inquiries, settlements, and defense strategy. Reviews reports, coordinates with clients, local counsel, investigators, and attorneys, manages subrogation and accrued liability, and participates in mediations, trials, arbitrations, and hearings. Develops action plans, seeks early resolution, monitors counsel performance, and supports return-to-work and quality programs.

Oversees workforce absence claims operations, quality reviews, regulatory and client compliance, service delivery, staffing, training, budgets, and profit-and-loss management. Establishes client business plans, maintains client relationships, ensures claims policies and procedures are followed, and leads a team of fewer than 25 colleagues. Responsibilities include hiring, performance management, employee development, reporting, and supporting organizational quality programs.

Calculate and recover employee benefit overpayments for disability and workers' compensation claims; perform manual calculations, coordinate recoveries, refer to collections, maintain quality control, conduct file reviews, and provide payroll administration for external payments.

Review and establish FMLA and paid leave claims; determine eligibility and benefits per client plans and regulations; calculate and process payments/adjustments; communicate with claimants and clients; maintain documentation and service standards.

Lead regional operations to drive profitable growth through client acquisition and retention, implement annual business plans, manage talent and financial controls, oversee property & casualty staff, ensure quality and customer satisfaction, hire and develop colleagues, and facilitate communication across stakeholders. Travel as required.
