Identifies, qualifies, and converts new business opportunities across Dow’s infrastructure, consumer, transportation, and wire and cable markets. Builds prospect pipelines, develops market penetration strategies, engages customer decision-makers, and partners with marketing, technical, product, and commercial teams. Leads opportunities from prospecting through commercialization while providing market intelligence, supporting forecasting, and delivering growth through new customer acquisition and application development.

Manage and expand Dow’s customer portfolio across the Pacific Northwest, including distribution and large accounts. Responsibilities include generating leads, developing sales and marketing plans, forecasting, analyzing market intelligence, identifying product opportunities, negotiating pricing, managing customer relationships, and coordinating with production, supply chain, and other stakeholders. The role requires strong commercial acumen, sales analytics proficiency, customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Lead Dow’s global Thriving Communities and employee volunteerism strategies. Manage nonprofit partnerships, charitable contribution portfolios, community-needs assessments, volunteer initiatives, measurement frameworks, grant governance, and related technology platforms. Collaborate across regions, functions, HR, Corporate Affairs, employee resource groups, and external stakeholders to deliver measurable social impact. The role also oversees financial resources, volunteer manager deployment, reporting, and strategic investment recommendations.

Develops and executes state government affairs and advocacy strategies for Dow. Builds relationships with policymakers, advises executives on legislative and regulatory developments, represents the company before government entities, drafts policy and legislative language, coordinates coalition advocacy, and advances manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, workforce, and economic-growth priorities.

Provides legal and business advice on tax planning, M&A, restructurings, audits, tax controversy, contracts, legal research, credits, and incentives. Drafts tax memoranda, protests, refund claims, and technical legal arguments; reviews tax provisions in commercial agreements; coordinates with external counsel; and collaborates with Tax, Finance, Legal, M&A, Treasury, and Government Affairs teams.
