Supports the Faculty Director and manages daily operations for an accounting research center. Responsibilities include budget administration, financial reporting, vendor and contract coordination, faculty recruitment logistics, research support, databases, communications, workshops, conferences, and special projects. Designs studies, statistical models, and reproducible data pipelines; integrates clinical, biospecimen, administrative, and external datasets; oversees data quality and provenance; develops predictive and spatial models; interprets and visualizes findings; contributes to manuscripts, grants, and presentations; and mentors research staff and learners. Collaborates with clinicians, researchers, technical teams, external institutions, and community partners.

Leads data science research for a breast cancer program, developing multimodal clinical data frameworks, data dictionaries, machine learning pipelines, statistical models, and reproducible genomic analyses. Collaborates on computational tools, manages projects, drafts grants, creates training materials, supervises trainees, and supports complex data requests involving clinical, genomic, pathology, imaging, and administrative datasets.

Coordinates the Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence’s annual programs and events, including registration, logistics, budgets, vendors, speakers, communications, and event-day operations. Manages the AI Workshop seminar series, directs student workers and interns, tracks program metrics, supports promotional materials, and improves event and financial processes. The role collaborates with faculty, staff, senior leaders, vendors, and external partners while maintaining the programming calendar and ensuring effective program delivery.

Supports research lab operations, grant administration, budgets, contracts, purchasing, facilities, HR activities, compliance, and strategic projects. Develops proposals, reports, manuscripts, web content, and presentations; manages partnerships and research dissemination. Assists with community-engaged research, data collection, literature reviews, and analysis while coordinating with university administrators, external collaborators, vendors, and the principal investigator.

Manages end-to-end accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, deferred revenue, journal entries, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, procurement support, tax documentation, and financial reporting. Partners with accounting, sales, customer, research administration, and leadership teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records. The role requires detail-oriented financial operations experience in a remote, collaborative environment.

Develops, maintains, and optimizes research software, backend services, and prototypes primarily in Python. Collaborates with researchers to translate scientific goals into scalable solutions, applies testing and version-control practices, optimizes performance, and deploys software on HPC and cloud platforms. The role also includes project planning, documentation, code reviews, technical support, and resolving software problems. This is a one-year hybrid position with possible extension.
