Lead development and integration of vehicle-level electrohydraulic and electronic control systems. Capture customer requirements, propose system architectures, perform system FMEAs and functional safety analysis, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to design, install, debug, and validate advanced vehicle systems, and support sales and product divisions with technical proposals and VoC.

Provide technical support for assigned product lines by liaising with customers, sales, and German counterparts; develop product knowledge and training; prepare price quotations and analyses; maintain price lists/literature; generate reports in SAP; participate in continuous improvement and other assigned duties. Develop, test, and validate application software and HMI solutions for mobile/off-highway hydraulic systems using C, Codesys, MATLAB/Simulink and HYDAC MATCH. Provide lab and on-vehicle validation, technical customer support, and sales representation. Create reusable function blocks and implement functionally safe software in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Support business and sales for mobile hydraulic solutions by aiding application engineering and field sales, handling quotations and pricing, training distributors and sales staff, recommending products and stock levels, developing product literature and presentations, and maintaining customer relationships. Role requires strong customer service, travel ~30-40%, and is based in-office in Schaumburg, IL.

Manage a multidisciplinary engineering group to develop advanced fluid power and electronic control systems for equipment and vehicle automation/electrification. Define system strategy and technology roadmap, lead technology transfer with Germany, ensure commercial and production readiness, support sales and customers, create standards, provide VoC and training, and oversee development from requirements through testing and installation.

Design and develop hydraulic cartridge valves and related components; produce customer and manufacturing drawings, test procedures, and work instructions; validate prototypes in the engineering lab; develop test specifications and maintain engineering documentation; collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve manufacturing, design, and quality issues.
