Lead and oversee outsourced investment accounting activities, validate journal entries and valuations, manage month/quarter-end close, prepare statutory/investment schedules and fair value adjustments, mentor staff, apply accounting guidance, and support surplus relief and related stakeholder communications.

Lead full-cycle recruiting and strategic sourcing for insurance roles across Chicago and Omaha. Partner with leadership on interviewing, succession planning, employer branding, ATS management (Paycom), metrics/reporting, and onboarding to build talent pipelines through entry to executive levels.

Design, develop, and maintain insurance-focused software solutions (policy administration, claims, underwriting). Improve core platforms via APIs/web services, ensure secure data handling, support and troubleshoot applications, maintain documentation, perform performance tuning, and lead cross-training efforts.
