Develop profitable, diversified book, collaborate across product, actuarial, legal, and claims, support cross-sell opportunities, and communicate analytical underwriting decisions to stakeholders while building agent/broker relationships and underwriting processes.

Underwrite and manage complex construction-focused inland marine accounts (builders risk, installation, contractors' equipment, project cargo). Use technical judgment and data to select profitable business, set coverage/terms/pricing, manage portfolio performance, build broker/client relationships, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor underwriters to strengthen inland marine capabilities.

Perform and review advanced actuarial analyses to price casualty reinsurance (umbrella, professional liability, multi-line). Prepare research and reports, communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences, document methods, develop actuarial tools, provide technical support, and mentor/train less experienced staff.

Manage, investigate, and resolve attorney-represented auto and homeowner bodily injury claims. Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages; coordinate with counsel; prepare for trials/hearings; ensure reserves and secure financial processing; identify suspicious claims and subrogation opportunities; communicate with claimants and policyholders; maintain claim files and reports.

Underwrite and manage a diversified Public Entity and Government portfolio by assessing risk, negotiating terms, maintaining agent/broker relationships, improving portfolio performance, documenting decisions, mentoring underwriters, and driving continuous improvement and targeted marketing to grow profitable business.

Manage moderately complex to complex commercial property/casualty claims: investigate, evaluate coverage and liability, set and adjust reserves, negotiate settlements, coordinate litigation, mentor team members, and support claims team management and quality review.

Lead underwriting for large, complex construction accounts across Primary Casualty lines (WC, GL, Auto). Provide technical underwriting guidance and referral approvals, align primary and excess placements, monitor portfolio performance, drive underwriting excellence, and collaborate with leaders and partners to develop strategies, products, and capability enhancements.
