Lead a process engineering team to develop PFDs and P&IDs, size and specify equipment, perform hydraulic and relief/flare analyses, participate in HAZOP/LOPA, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor junior engineers, and support resourcing and project delivery for energy and chemical projects.

Leads mechanical engineering activities for power, energy, refining, and chemical EPC projects. Responsibilities include managing schedules and budgets, specifying and evaluating process equipment, reviewing vendor documents, performing equipment and piping calculations, specifying piping materials, conducting field surveys, supervising engineers, mentoring staff, and supporting proposals and engineering standards.

Design and analyze chemical process systems: produce PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, process simulations, and equipment datasheets. Size and rate pumps, vessels, exchangers, and relief systems; perform hydraulic and flare header analysis. Prepare instrument and line lists, process descriptions, and participate in HAZID/HAZOP reviews. Support projects as an individual contributor and present technical information to clients and peers.

Support project engineering and technical activities from conceptual design through construction and startup. Coordinate design deliverables across disciplines and offices, review drawings, manage project communications, track project performance (earned value, reporting, forecasting), prepare field trip reports and meeting minutes, and assist leads and PMs in planning, organization, and execution.

Support the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling engineering projects. Define scope, develop schedules and budgets, coordinate discipline engineering activities, review drawings and reports, manage communications, track hours and change notices, prepare progress reports, and support quality control and staff performance evaluations. Work includes office, field, and construction-site visits.

Design and develop detailed electrical systems and 3D models for industrial and power projects using AVEVA E3D/PDMS. Produce drawings, perform clash detection, coordinate multidisciplinary design, generate BOMs, review vendor data, and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Support capital projects with project controls: develop and convert scope into resourced schedules, integrate engineering/procurement/construction, monitor progress, produce earned value and progress reports, forecast resources and costs, perform schedule and risk analysis, and advise management on impacts and corrective actions.

Lead project controls for engineering projects: develop, maintain, and monitor Primavera P6 schedules; integrate engineering, procurement, and construction timelines; produce earned value and progress reports; forecast resources and budgets; advise management on impacts and corrective actions; train junior planners.

Lead instrumentation and controls design deliverables (instrument index, DCS/PLC and CEMS datasheets, I/O lists, process control narratives). Perform specifications, estimates, vendor evaluation, and technical problem solving. Supervise/mentor junior staff, maintain up-to-date I&C practices, and support field and office work using CAD and engineering software.

Perform piping stress and flexibility analyses (ASME B31.1/B31.3) using CAESAR II; specify and evaluate engineered supports and nozzle loads; prepare stress reports; perform field surveys; coordinate with designers, vendors, and clients; manage schedules, budgets, and provide project status reporting.
